Insecticide fipronil is one of phenylpyrazole insecticide and the chemical name is (RS)-5-amino-1-[2,6-dichloro-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-4-(trifluoromethylsulfinyl)-1H-pyrazole-3-carbonitrile. It has an excellent stability and it is stable at room temperature but not stable for light. The freezing point of this product is 4℃ and the melting point is 11℃. This product is pretty active to hemiptera, lepidoptera, thysanoptera and coleoptera and other pests which have drug-resistant to cyclopentyl diene, pyrethroid and carbamate insecticides. For toxicity, the main function of this product is stomach poisoning as well as contact and systemic poisoning. And its mechanism is to inhibit insect chloride metabolism controlled by γ-aminobutyric acid.

This product has overall medium toxicity but it is highly toxic to bees, especiallyparasitic wasps. Because they are natural enemies of rice stem borer and for rice leaf roller, so the usage of the product should be thoroughly considered. Besides that, as a broad spectrum insecticide, it also has strong destruction of other natural enemies of pests, so overuse of this product can damage the ecological protection of the farmland.

We are a professional insecticide fipronil manufacturer and supplier in China. At Eastchem, we provide a vast range of products that includes insecticide imidacloprid, insecticide dicofol, fungicide tricyclazole, fungicide tebuconazole and herbicide butachlor, etc.

  • Insecticide Carbofuran Because of its specific structure, insecticide carbofuran can irreversibly combine with cholinesterase so it is highly toxic to higher animals, such as birds. Specifically, acute oral LD50 for rats is 8 to 14 mg/kg, for dog the value is19 mg/kg. But this product is not toxic for bees. Due to high toxicity, it can't be used as spray or mixed together with swep. In the event of poisoning, atropine but rather pralidoxime should be used.
  • Insecticide Lambda-cyhalothrin Insecticide lambda-cyhalothrin, with formula C23H19ClF3NO3, is a kind of pyrethroid. It is insoluble in water but soluble in many organic solvents such as acetone, methanol, ethyl acetate, toluene and the solubility is bigger than 500g/L. It has stable characteristic. To be more specific, it can be stored for more than six months at room temperature and half-life is 20 days under the sun or in water.
